Wishing you could have lips like Kylie Jenner? Now you can! Having just announced three new shades added to her Lip Kit, and the original shades back in stock, the race is on to bag them before they sell out.
If a body part were to win an award for the most talked about, most enviable and most replicated it would almost definitely be Kylie Jenner’s lips. Her infamous pout made itself into an internet sensation challenge, and her nude lip colour choice led to girls worldwide desperate to get their hands on MAC lipstick in ‘Teddy’ and ‘Whirl’ lipliner.
The reality TV teenage superstar has just announced that three new shades of lipstick in red, mauve and pale pink will be added to her Lip Kit range, which already includes three neutral, sultry tones.
The original collection was launched on 30th November 2015 after being announced on the LipKitByKylie Instagram page just a day before the release. The three shades, Dolce K, a nude beige, Candy K, a slightly pinker shades, and True Brown K, a dark, dramatic burgundy, sold out almost instantly before the website crashed.
As explained on the website, the liquid lipsticks can be ‘applied with one swipe color that glides across lips and dries down to a powdery-soft, matte finish. Homogenous color in natural nudes and deep browns give unparalleled comfort and wear. The oil free formula has 25% pigment which provides instant color. The perfect blend of waxes, silicone and polymers give you smooth and easy glide color, with long-wearing properties.’ Sounds like the perfect lipstick!
On February 2nd, Kylie Jenner teased fans by posting the seductive, cleavage-baring image below, commenting ‘Could this be a new lip kit color? @lipkitbykylie’ Following this, she posted a Snapchat, telling followers “I had a Lip Kit photo shoot today and this is one of my new colors. It’s red and it’s pretty bomb.” That clears that up, then!
In addition to this sexy, classic red colour named Mary Jo K after her grandmother, will be Posie K a brighter mauve shade and Koko K, a dusty pale pink. Unfortunately, the second round of shades sold out in just 27 minutes, so if you weren’t quick enough you’ll have to wait for another release!
