Vicky Pattison crowned I’m A Celebrity winner!
I’m A Celebrity 2015 is over and the new queen of the jungle has been crowned.
After 3 weeks of celebs, critters, drama, bushtucker trials and more drama. The new winner of I’m A Celebrity has been crowned, and this year, the public voted Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison as the new queen of the jungle.
Union J member George Shelley, TOWIE star Ferne McCann and Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison all made it to this year’s final, but the bubbly reality TV star won the votes of the public to take the crown from last year’s winner, Carl Fogarty, who handed over his crown to Vicky Pattison at the end of the show.
During the last episode of this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity, we saw all 3 of the finalists compete in their own bushtucker trial in order to try and earn stars for a slap-up 3 course meal, they would get for their final night in the jungle.
Vicky Pattison took on the first trial called ‘Surf and Turf’. In the trial, Vicky had to make her way through a series of tanks full of jungle critters, of course, in order to get her 4 stars that would earn the camp their starter for their 3 course meal, plus 50 dingo dimes that they could spend in the camp vending machine. And of course, Vicky managed to secure all 4 stars with ease.
Next to face their own bushtucker trial was Ferne McCann, who drew the short straw as she had to take on the eating challenge. In the challenge, Ferne was presented with 4 dishes, which included: Witchetty Grubs, lamb brains, bull penis and a live (Yes, it was alive!) water spider. And amazingly, Ferne got all 4 stars!
Last, but not least to face their challenge was Union J star, George Shelley, who took on the challenge ‘Critter Attack’. The singer had to lay in a perspex box, where he then had over 45,000 critters dumped onto him as he tried to get his 4 stars as part of the challenge, and he too, completed the challenge successfully, earning the three finalists an amazing 3 course meal to end their jungle experience.
Once all of that was done and dusted, It was revealed that Ferne McCann came in 3rd place. When interviewed about her experience, she said “It was amazing. I can’t believe I’m here. I never thought I’d get this far.” Ferne was also relieved to find out Chris Eubank did actually say purple during their discussion in the phone box (which resulted in a camp argument) and she wasn’t going mad!
In second place this year was jungle heart-throb George Shelley. The singer seemed extremely happy to get out of the jungle, and was even grateful to see a pen for the first time in 3 weeks - it’s the little things. When asked “Did you expect your jungle experience to be like that?” George responded “No, not at all. It’s completely extreme. You have such highs and lows. I thought it was going to be an adventure, but it’s gruelling” At least you made it George!
But this year’s Queen of the jungle completely stole the show. Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison has kept everyone thoroughly entertained this year, with her brilliant sense of humour and happy-go-lucky attitude, she is a worthy winner! When asked about her experience, she said “Every single second has been a dream come true.”
She also said when asked about if she thought she’d changed the public perception of her “I would like to think so. I really hope everyone has seen the real me” The Geordie Shore star was very emotional about her new ‘Queen of the jungle’ title, and when asked about what she thought about people voting for her, she said “I can’t thank you enough. I don’t think I deserve it. Thank you so much!”
Well done Vicky, you do deserve it.
