Ever since Orange Is The New Black launched its third season on Netflix last Friday the whole world has been talking about its new star Ruby Rose. You can’t scroll through Twitter or Instagram without seeing a Ruby Rose post. So who is the girl who is taking not only Litchfield prison by storm but the world too!
Ruby’s actual name is Ruby Rose Langheim and she was born in Melbourne, Austraila.
She is 29 years old and is very famous back in her home country of Austraila, where she is a model, actress, TV presenter and recording artist.
She embraced her sexuality at the age of 12 where she revealed she was a lesbian She suffered many years of verbal and physical abuse through her teenage years even ending up in hospital at the hands of bullies.
In 2008 and again in 2009 she was named in the “Top 25 influential Lesbian and Gay Australians” list by “SameSame” an Australian online community for gay and lesbians.
She is currently engaged to the granddaughter of Roald Dahl, Pheobe Dahl and the couple got engaged back in 2014.
Ruby plays inmate Stella Critchen in Orange is the new black and joined the cast for season three. Her obviously good looks, attract the attention of many of her fellow inmates.
Trust me I think Ruby Rose is going to become this years IT girl with her model looks, alternative dress sense and tattoos she can make even the straightest girl fall in love with her. I’m just off to cool myself down……
