It’s been almost two months since Zayn Malik quit One Direction, leaving millions of teenagers heartbroken.
However, it seems like the young pop star –who left the boy band claiming he wanted “to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight”– is still determined to make the headlines.
A couple of hours ago, the brunette heartthrob sent his former bandmate Louis Tomlinson a pretty harsh message via Twitter.
“@Louis_Tomlinson remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?” the former One Direction member tweeted.

What was this all about? Apparently, the war of words started over a photo Malik’s producer Naughty Boy posted of himself and the pop star working in the studio, featuring a filter.

“Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha! Some people still do HA!” Tomlinson tweeted about the picture.
The 30-year-old producer replied back, saying: “And some people can’t even sing… but who’s complaining when there’s auto tune eh.”
“Jesus forgot you were such an in demand producer… How does it feel to be riding on the back of someone else’s career?” Tomlinson wrote back, to which Naughty Boy quipped: “Yeah how does it feel mate? You’ve been doing that for the last five years… I’ve got Emeli Sande and Sam Smith on my CV.”
The discussion went on, until Malik finally intervened with his harsh tweet.
