Kanye West’s ‘Life of Pablo’ only available on TIDAL
Kanye West’s new album has officially been released- but only on TIDAL.
Kanye West said his new album would drop very soon and indeed it has. Kanye’s new album ‘The Life of Pablo’ is now available, but only on TIDAL.
The news that it would only be available on TIDAL, has led to an army of fans being extremely disappointed and annoyed that they are only able to listen to it from that platform.
TIDAL, a music streaming service, similar to Spotify and owned by rapper JAY-Z, costs upwards of £12.99 a month. But does come with a free month trial (you can cancel anytime) - so if you are that desperate to listen to the album, I would recommend getting it for that purpose.
Kanye’s new album is jam packed with collaborations from an array of artists such as: Frank Ocean, Kendrick Lamar, Chance The Rapper, Rihanna, Young Thug, Andre 3000, Chris Brown and The Weeknd.
It has also been reported that ‘The Life of Pablo’ has been illegally downloaded more than half a million times already, due to its of availability anywhere else. A spokesperson from Torrent Freak said: “I haven’t seen download numbers this high for a music release before.”
And just to make things crystal clear, Kanye tweeted “My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal” A very bold decision - you’d think Kanye would be open to having it on sale, considering he’s apparently in so much debt!
‘The Life of Pablo’ is available to stream on TIDAL.
