Barcelona agree future deal for Pogba
This international footballer, who has attracted interest from all the games' giants, has written his future.
According to reports in Spain, Barcelona have agreed a deal with Juventus in principle to sign midfielder Paul Pogba before the 2016/17 season starts. The young but talented player has been touted by many top clubs, including Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, but the race has been won by another contender.
Pogba, who began his senior career with Manchester United, left the North-East England outfit after management showed a lack of faith in the player. He joined Juventus for free in 2012, and has since made 89 appearances, scoring 20 goals in the process.
However, it seems that his time in Italy will come to an end at the close of this season, whereupon he will make the journey to the Nou Camp, donning the famous red and blue.
Barcelona reportedly sent delegates to Italy in efforts to instigate talks with the club and player, which proved to be successful; they struck a deal whereby Pogba will stay in Turin until Barcelona’s transfer ban is lifted.
The transfer is not yet fully confirmed, however. Whoever wins the upcoming presidential elections at the Catalan club will be charged with the task of formalising the deal with the ‘powerful, skilful and creative’ midfielder.
