10 types of people that annoy you on social media

Whether it be Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat or Instagram, I guarantee that there is at least one person who’s posts make you want to either vomit or kick them into space. Here’s a list of our top ten most annoying people that everyone has noticed on social media…if you haven’t blocked them yet, that is ;).

1. The Follow-Backers

These are the people who follow you on Twitter then message you asking for a follow back. They always have thousands of followers and are only following 52 people, so it is pretty obvious that they will unfollow you after you’ve done as they asked. Do they not have a life?!

2. The Instagram Couple

Fair enough it’s nice to upload photos of yourself and your partner every now and again. However, if every week you two are doing your Man Crush Monday and Woman Crush Wednesday with a photo and a soppy paragraph then you my friend are doing both Instagram and relationships wrong.

3. The Snapchat Promoters

These people are the ones who constantly put their Snapchat names online for every man and his dog to see and add. Hoping for random nudes? You’ll probably get them. You’ll also probably get your stalker adding you to see what you get up to. Tip: rather than do this, just change your settings to let everyone view your story and that way randomers can see your posts but can’t Snapchat you…unless you like that type of thing

4. The Animal Lover

These types of people seem to be rife on Facebook; I understand that everyone likes animals and doesn’t want them to get hurt but constantly sharing videos of animals and sharing stuff about how great it is to be vegan is so not interesting. Save it for Tumblr!

5. The ‘Gainz’ Guys

Every day you will see a photo of this guy’s breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks with the caption ‘pre-gym gains’ or ‘post-gym gains’. Okay, we got that you go to the gym and eat a fuck tonne of food from the first post. No need to do it every day just because you’ve replaced chips for hash browns this time!

6. Twitter Creeps

These people usually use a profile photo of a good looking girl/guy (who is clearly not them) and then tweet stuff like ‘follow me if you’ve got lips because I’m f**king heart eyes for you’. Erm, excuse me but doesn’t everyone have lips? WEIRDO.

7. The Baby Photo Sharers

These people like to upload countless amounts of photos of their newborn children saying how cute they are when, in reality, all newborns look the same anyway.

8. Candy Crush Pest

Need I say more?

9. The Holiday Lover

We do not all want to see you checking in at a seven star hotel in Dubai and Spain every month. Seeing photos of cocktails and sunshine is just too depressing when you’re sat at work drinking coffee with the heater on.

10. The Attention Seeker

This is the person who will always write the type of statuses that cause everyone to comment with questions which the person will ultimately ignore. This person will probably upload half naked photos with a caption that says something ridiculous like ‘keep/delete’ too just so she gets more compliments, then will moan that people are being pervy.
