Zayn Malik drops out of 2nd public interview
The former One Direction member has dropped out of yet another interview.
Rumours and concerns are being raised about former One Direction member Zayn Malik as he drops out of a second public interview in the space of a week.
Zayn Malik, who released his first solo single last week, was scheduled to be on Radio 1 with Greg James, but cancelled the interview 45 minutes before he was due to go on air.
The singer’s no show left numerous fans devastated as they waited outside the Radio 1 studio in hope to meet their idol.
Malik also left people talking after he cancelled his first TV appearance since leaving One Direction on The Graham Norton Show last week.
The former One Direction heartthrob was due to appear on The Graham Norton Show on Friday 29th January, the day his single ‘Pillowtalk’ was released, but pulled out due to ‘scheduling issues’.
His rep announced “Unfortunately there was a scheduling conflict as Zayn is currently in the studio completing his album.”
Piers Morgan also added his opinion on the matter on Good Morning Britain this morning (Tuesday 2nd February). The controversial TV presenter blasted Malik on a segment of the breakfast show.
He said “I interviewed them all for a YouTube thing 2 years ago before he left the band, he just surly the entire time” He also added “I thought if you don’t want to be a popstar, go and do something else. Go and clean drains.”
He also added “Now he’s being deliberately rude to people… Being rude, being difficult. Get over yourself mate!”
Maybe Zayn’s next interview should be on Good Morning Britain, that would be interesting!
