‘The Read’ is Fundamental Listening

Gut bursting entertainment is the best way to describe the hilariously popular podcast The Read.

Hosted weekly by Miami, Florida native Kid Fury and Oklahoma native Crissle, both now residing in New York City. This podcast began in 2013 and has grown into a phenomenon in which hundreds of thousands of listeners tune into.

The show consists of two openly opinionated individuals sharing their thoughts on anything from entertainment to racial issues and not holding any reservations on their commentary. They have gained and kept their viewers by spotlighting African Americans who may not receive adequate acknowledgment, intriguing and comical topics, giving painfully honest advice to listeners and ushering unapologetic rants solely for their relief and lucky for us our comical needs.

This duo have 150 shows and counting, over 40,000 followers on SoundCloud and over 40,000 followers on Twitter. Kid Fury and Crissle have also hosted live shows in U.S. cities such as St. Louis, Charlotte, Washington D.C. and also in London, England. They are currently preparing for their live show in New York (which is already sold out) that is celebrating their third year as a podcast.
