Jamie Dornan: The sexiest man alive

This morning it was announced that Jamie Dornan has claimed the crown for the number one position of the sexiest man alive!

It came as no surprise when Jamie topped the list for the sexiest man alive, he does after all play the sexiest fictional character of all time, Christian Grey. With his dreamy blue eyes, chiseled good looks, a body to die for and a great personality, Jamie really is the full package.

The 32-year-old Northern Irish actor first found fame in the 2006 movie Marie Antoinette, in which he played Axel con Fersen, opposite Kirsten Dunst. After that he made several independent movies, but became more recognised for his Clavin Klein ad campaigns, where he wowed in classic Calvin Klein briefs alongside Kate Moss and Eva Mendes. New York Times labeled him “The Golden Torso” and it’s not difficult to see why…

In 2013 we saw a darker side to Jamie, when he played the Belfast serial killer Paul Spector in the BBC drama The Fall. Jamie opened up his acting talents as the twisted and manipulative serial killer, and despite giving a convincingly creepy and haunting performance, he made women everywhere ask the question “Is it normal to have a crush on a serial killer?”

The Fall was renewed for a second season around the time Jamie won the role of Christian Grey in the much anticipated movie Fifty Shades of Grey. Initially it was Charlie Hunman who was cast as the fictional character, but when Charlie’s Son’s of Anarchy schedule clashes with Fifty Shades, the role was given to Jamie. Immediately women became enthralled with Jamie, eager to see if he would live up to the expectation of their imaginations, and despite some critical reviews, Jamie made a perfect Christian Grey and we can wait to see him in the next two instalments which have just been announced for release in 2017 and 2018.

While we have a bit of a wait to see Jamie reprise his role as Christian Grey, alongside the beautiful Dakota Johnson who plays Anastasia Steele, we can expect to see him in upcoming movie The 9th Life of Louis Drax and the third season of The Fall.
