Last weekend we saw five become four, with Lauren Murray and 4th Impact in the bottom two, it was down to the judges to boot one act out of the competition and with that, we saw 4th Impact sent on their way. With only four remaining acts left in the competition everything is at stake so who will be left in the final three, let’s find out.

With all four acts once again performing two songs each the acts have a chance to redeem themselves if they mess up on the first, a mistake Ché knows all too well. The theme isn’t an all too creative one this week with it being ‘songs to get me to the final’ although with this broad opening, the acts and their mentors have the chance to pull something out of the bag and wow the nation into handing over their votes and with the help of Lionel Richie they surely can’t go wrong? Have they succeeded though? You’re about to find out.
Check out the first four performances from the last remaining acts and what people really thought about them below.
After Olly and Caroline decide to open the show and introduce everyone which I can only imagine gets very boring every week, it was time to kick off the show starting with the one and only group left in the competition, Reggie ‘N’ Bollie. With their take on Locked Away by R City Ft. Adam Levine, everything was to play for but did they pull it off? They managed to strip the performance back and show off more of their vocals but it’s a shame their vocals just aren’t even close to the standard of the other contestants. 2/5. More basic yet weak vocals.
yet another song that requires no actual singing ability.. #XFactor

Following that dreadful performance is Lauren Murray and after a last minute change of song, she decides to sing Take Me Home by Jess Glynne and although she sung it at the judge’s houses, we hope she will improve it tonight. No overdone performance needed with this girl, the vocals say it all and they speak volumes! 4/5. Amazing but lacked something.
Lauren was BANG ON, that was not a semi-final song #xfactor

Next up is Ché Chesterman. After his performances last week he is hoping these two go down without any issues and Nick was quick to remind him not to mess up. Can he pull off Would I Lie to You? by Charles & Eddie or will he forget what he was supposed to sing? Thankfully he was able to perform without any issues and managed to put on a show for the entire nation. 3/5. It was good but at times he was screaming.
I rarely watch #xfactor but this guy Che Chesterman has one hell of a voice.

It was great to see Lionel Richie on the X-Factor tonight, letting the acts know what he thinks of them and how they can improve in any situation, but just like the tweet from Lucy, I feel like he was underused, a star like that needs to be put on display!
Think @TheXFactor should have sat @LionelRichie on the judges’ panel tonight - such a legend! #XFactor

Up last singing in their first four song was Louisa Johnson who so far is favourite to win the competition, so can she keep that momentum going? With her take on The Power of Love by Frankie Goes To Hollywood, let’s hope she can perform and put a bit of attitude in like Lionel suggested. The vocals on this girl are outstanding, she could sing the dictionary and people would love her and the performance with the red glowing instruments was a nice move! 5/5. Outstanding and near perfection.
louisa has to win xfactor but regardless I reckon she'll do amazin things after the show

Check out the second four performances from the last remaining acts and what people really thought about them below.
First up to perform their second song of the night was Ché Chesterman, singing none other than Love is a Losing Game by the late, great Amy Winehouse - will he use the advice Mark Ronson gave him and make the song his own? The performance and vocals however captivating and blissful they may have been, should have been left to Amy. It did however leave Mr Grimshaw in tears and was fully packed with emotion. 4/5. Had the judges in tears and I’m sure many others too.
I'm legit crying right now. I love Che so much <3 #xfactor

Up next to perform was Louisa Johnson, singing It’s a Man’s World by James Brown, however this time she is going to using Christina Aguilera’s version as inspiration. For once it was nice to see Louisa not just stand in one spot and sing and as always her vocals were on point and she showed the world how important girl power really is! 4/5. Powerful and stylish.
It's really nice to see Louisa Johnson in apparel other than croptops. That white suit is on point. #xfactor

Following one amazing girl power performance and onto the next with Lauren Murray. Her second song was, Runnin’ (Lose It All) by Naughty Boy Ft. Beyoncé & Arrow Benjamin. Can she pull it off? Of course she can. A stand out performance with a lot going on but in a very minimalistic way. Lauren has shown that she can sing and perform every week, she just keeps getting better. 4/5. Amazing.
Lauren continuing to make her way through the current UK Top 20. #XFactor

So far tonight I think Simon Cowell might be making some money through advertising? First shouting out about Britain’s Got Talent, even though it’s another of his shows but then giving a nice shout out to the dramatic EastEnders, he has an easy life.
Last up singing for their place in the competition was Reggie ‘N’ Bollie. Singing or should I say performing I Gotta Feeling / I Like To Move It - Black Eyed Peas / Reel 2 Real, it is time to see if they can rain in the desperate votes they need. After taking two amazing songs and pushing them together into a mash up is it going to be as good as they hoped? I have to say although the pair have terrible vocals with this performance it really didn’t matter because there was so much going on you couldn’t tell! It doesn’t look like the good people of twitter agree with me though. 3.5/5. Distractingly brilliant!
The backing track is so loud you can't even hear them 'sing'. #XFactor
