It would be a whole different story if people went ‘Fat Bird Watching’

Plus Sized Wars which was aired on Channel 4 and gave viewers an insight on what people had to say and how people felt about being curvy.

I thought it was a bit stupid to make the programme in the first place as the attention always seems to be on curvier girls and how they are so hard done by. Despite being so ‘hard done by’ they still feel it’s okay to put slimmer girls down. It’s all I hear about on social media. When actually not many people care about your size at all, I think they may have their own lives to worry about instead of yours.

We are all the same people, we all have feelings, we all get insecure, we all get nervous, we all have dreams and we all envy someone for their looks, no matter what size we are!

This whole situation is getting out of hand it’s turning into a war, skinny vs fat. It seems that way anyway. What is the point in any of this? We are all different shapes and sizes, but no matter what shape you are, you could be such a lovely generous human being with so much to give. All these articles about being bigger, social media rants and now television programmes and even songs slating skinny girls just baffle me. Isn’t there more important things going on in the world than someone’s size?

Whilst watching plus sized wars there was a scene where the staff from the shop ‘Taking Shape’ were ‘Skinny Bird Watching’ Plus Sized Wars added this to their programme and the whole idea of it seemed to be okay. What about if Victoria Secret or another shop that promotes ‘Skinny Birds’ went Fat Bird Watching. I dread to think what the plus sized women would have to say about that. Just because people are skinny it doesn’t mean they are okay with this? Consider people’s feelings because everyone seems to be walking on egg shells around plus sized people at the moment so a row doesn’t arrupt.
