Everybody Loves Raymond star Sawyer Sweeten dead at 19
19 year old actor Sawyer Sweeten who took part in the US sitcom has sadly been taken. Creating Awareness for mental health is VERY important.
Everybody loves Raymond star Sawyer Sweeten (character Name Geoffrey Barone) was in Texas for a family visit and it has been identified that yesterday, Thursday morning, he had shot himself. Reports say he was found on the front porch of the family home in Texas.
People across the globe are paying their respects to Sawyer Sweeten at this delicate time. The 19 year old star was well respected and had his whole life ahead of him. He was only weeks away from his 20th birthday. He will mostly be remembered for played a role on the U.S. sitcom alongside his twin brother and his elder sister.
His sister Madylin said yesterday: “This morning a terrible family tragedy has occurred.
“We are devastated to report that our beloved brother, son, and friend, Sawyer Sweeten, took his own life. He was weeks away from his 20th birthday.
“At this sensitive time, our family requests privacy and we beg of you to reach out to the ones you love.”
Patricia Heaton, who played Sweeten’s mother, said on Twitter: “Sawyer Sweeten was a funny and exceptionally bright young man. He is gone from us far too soon.”

And Doris Roberts, who played their on-screen grandma, said on Facebook: “He was a very sweet young man who will be dearly missed. Make sure your loved ones know how much you care about them, and please check in with them if you haven’t touched base with them for a while. It’s very important to keep in touch.”
With all the love and support from his family, friends, the cast of Everybody loves Raymond, and not forgetting his fans across the world, he is loved by everyone and he is going to be missed.
Sawyer Sweeten was a treasure and was too young to be taken away. There are people all around the world suffering with mental health. Studies show that 450 million people suffer with mental health worldwide and 1 in 4 people will experience atleast one diagnosable mental health problem. Despite these figures many people feel ashamed to seek a diagnosis and support. Only 230 of every 300 who need help will actually visit their GP.”
Mental health is more common than you may think, anyone can get it including celebrities, just because they are famous doesn’t mean they are okay.
You should never feel alone and suffer with your problems, I want to lead a message out to everyone that this is a common situation that doctors and nurses deal with everyday, getting help is a step further to gaining health and happiness and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. If you don’t have a friend or family member you can speak to that can help you out with this there are other people here to help, your not alone.
