You may not know or have heard the name Vein before but chances are you have heard his music somewhere. Vein – real name Gavriel Rafael Aminov – is an artist, songwriter and music producer who has had the pleasure of working with the likes of Pitbull, Ashanti, Belinda, Enrique Iglesias, J Balvin, Jay Sean, Leona Lewis, Red Foo (LMFAO) and Robin Thicke, meaning he has toured the world and has a flurry of hits already under his belt.

This time Vein is looking to achieve greatness on his own with new solo single I Feel It, an EDM pop track you’re bound to be hear blaring through the speakers during an intense gym session. I Feel It comes off the back of his last release, Translation, and continues the feel good feeling Vein wants to portray from his time on the road touring arenas across the world. The track does excellently conveying that positive feeling.

I Feel It features the vocal talents of Alejandro Brooks who adds an almost Caribbean feel in his voice, steeped in passion and belief. It is a great performance from him and the scattered African chanting gives the song a cultural feel. Before the electronica synth flute and bassline drop the track mainly consists of an acoustic guitar which makes it sound like a proper song and not just a repetitive dancefloor track.

I would expect this track to be played on a lot of DJ sets in festivals as it’s made for the summer. It’s clear that Vein has worked hard to get to this point in his career where he feels he can express himself and emerge from the shadows of the larger names he has collaborated with in the past.

Gavriel Rafael Aminov was blessed enough to have performed the track 11:59 with Pitbull at Times Square on ABC for New Year’s Eve. His inspiring story of a man who followed his dreams is one that should be heard and respected, a beacon of hope emerging from the music industry. Watch the video below to find out more about Vein and his journey to where he is now, it will definitely make you warm to him as a person:
