Discounts on horror/thriller titles until the 2nd of November.
Get ready for some gaming news that should please any addicted gamer looking for their next fix of computerised entertainment. Prepare your wallets, it’s happening again. Steam launched its 2015 autumnal sale today, with swathes of its wares boasting massive discounts until 6pm on Monday. The year’s sale comes with a twist however, as it follows a Halloween theme, with its discounted titles reflecting that. Zombie and horror games are abound.
Titles including series like Resident Evil, Dead Rising, Bioshock, Left 4 Dead, Dead Island and The Witcher have discounts of up to 80% to their name. Also included in the sale are games such as Batman: Arkham Origins at 75% off, shambles simulator DayZ, and – for some reason – Cities Skylines, which is a superb game in every aspect and at half price you should definitely buy it, but why it’s included in a Halloween sale is anyone’s guess.
So if you’re in the market for a spot of thrill-seeking gaming this Halloween weekend, go and have a gander at the store and see whats on offer for yourself. If not, wait until Christmas, when Gaben opens the all-you-can-buy buffet and everything goes on sale.
